All are welcome to attend the Annual Meeting of Kingston Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 15 May 2019. 7pm at the Kingston Community Pavilion.

 

 

24/05/2019 - Annual Parish Meeting

 

All are most welcome to attend the Annual Parish Meeting which will held on Friday 24 May 2019. 7pm at the Parish Hall, The Street, Kingston.

The evening will be hosted by the chair of Kingston Parish Council and the theme will be "Planning - a review of the past year"

 

Refreshments will be served.

Just over a mile away from the town of Lewes and nestling at the foot of the Sussex Downs, Kingston is protected on its northern and western sides by high ranges of hills.

 

Many of the older houses are in the original village centre "The Street", with an interesting and picturesque mix of cottages and larger farmhouses as well as the local 14th Century pub The Juggs and St Pancras Church.

 

The village offers a number of recreational facilities through its two greens, parish hall and community pavilion as well as being an ideal base for walkers and cyclists to explore the beautiful South Downs and surrounding areas.
