Kingston Parish Hall

The Parish Council have invited Tom Warder, Community Led Housing Manager at Sussex Community Housing Hub http://www.sussexcommunityhousinghub.org/ to help us explore the options in Kingston for developing community led housing to better meet the needs of our community e.g. for older people and affordable housing. Do join us to find out more and share your views. If we are to take this further we need to know what you need / want and what you may have to offer. This meeting is a first step to finding out what we might be able to do and what would be involved.

Just over a mile away from the town of Lewes and nestling at the foot of the Sussex Downs, Kingston is protected on its northern and western sides by high ranges of hills.

Many of the older houses are in the original village centre "The Street", with an interesting and picturesque mix of cottages and larger farmhouses as well as the local 14th Century pub The Juggs and St Pancras Church.

The village offers a number of recreational facilities through its two greens, parish hall and community pavilion as well as being an ideal base for walkers and cyclists to explore the beautiful South Downs and surrounding areas.
