18/09/2017 - Kingston Parish Council Financial Accounts

 

Kingston Parish Council has again successfully completed and had certified its Annual Return of Accounts by external auditors.

 

The original certified Annual Return is available for inspection by any local government elector of the area of Kingston (near Lewes) Parish Council on application to the clerk. For details see the Notice of Conclusion of Audit

Just over a mile away from the town of Lewes and nestling at the foot of the Sussex Downs, Kingston is protected on its northern and western sides by high ranges of hills.

 

Many of the older houses are in the original village centre "The Street", with an interesting and picturesque mix of cottages and larger farmhouses as well as the local 14th Century pub The Juggs and St Pancras Church.

 

The village offers a number of recreational facilities through its two greens, parish hall and community pavilion as well as being an ideal base for walkers and cyclists to explore the beautiful South Downs and surrounding areas.
