I was born in Sussex and have lived here for most of my life and settled in Kingston in September 2021. I wanted to get to know the community into which I had moved so involved myself with some of the groups here, including joining the Parish Council in May 2022. I have spent much of my working life in Land-based industries, which has included continuing my education throughout adulthood in Agriculture and Land Management. In between I was the primary carer for my children as well as working for eleven years in a care home which looks after adults with learning difficulties. I spend my spare time walking the Downs, gardening and engaging with community activities.
